Our equipment

We provide high quality fiberglass and kevlar sea kayaks for a good paddling experience. The brands include Current Designs and Nigel Dennis Kayaks (NDK). 

Our paddles are mostly 210 cm to 22o cm fiberglass and carbon paddles by Werner and Lendal. 

Accessories include deck compasses, paddle floats, hand bilge pumps, spray skirts and PFD’s. You are welcome to bring your own gear if you like.

Our paddle boards are an option for days with light wind. The offer an excellent platform to snorkel from.

Kayaks

NDK (Nigel Dennis Kayaks) Models: Romany and Poseidon.

ROMANY 

The Romany is relatively short, light and responsive. It is very stable both empty and loaded. Its greatest attribute is excellent handling in following seas. In spite of its relatively short length it tracks well. The medium rocker makes it a playful boat on day trips.

Poseidon

The Poseidon is slightly longer and wider than the standard Romany and it has more volume in the cockpit area as well as wider cockpit. It can accommodate a larger paddler.
Dimensions: 16’2” x 21.75”

Current Designs Gulfstream

The gulfstream has reasonably good initial stability and excellent secondary stability. It’s maneuverability makes it a fun boat for day trips.

Dimensions: 16’10” X 23.75″

Current Designs Caribou, Kevlar layup

The Caribou is a classic Greenland style sea kayak. The hard chine gives it good initial stability and tracking. This fast boat is especially light due to the Kevlar layup.
Dimensions: 17’ 3″ x 2.5″.

Kestrel 140 with rudder

The Kestrel 140 is a recreational kayak that can accommodate a wide range of paddlers. At 14 feet long and 26 inches wide, it is stable yet responsive. The cockpit is large for easy entry and exit and all day comfort. The Kestrel is good for large paddlers or someone interested in using their kayak for a photography platform.

Kestrel 120
The Kestrel 120 is a recreational kayak that can accommodate a wide range of paddlers. At 12 feet long and 26 inches wide, it is stable yet responsive. The cock pit is large for easy entry and exit and all day comfort. The Kestrel is good for large paddlers or someone interested in using their kayak for a photography platform.

Vision 140 with rudder
The Vision 140 is a transitional kayak for those who want the extra stability but don’t want to compromise performance. At 14 feet long and 24 inches wide, it offers a larger, more comfortable cock pit than the touring kayaks, yet it is still very responsive and fun to paddle. The rudder provides good control for photography.

Vision 130
The Vision 130 is a transitional kayak for those that want stability but don’t want to compromise performance. At 13 feet long and 24 inches wide, it is light (only 40 lbs) and agile. It offers a larger, more comfortable cock pit than the touring kayaks, yet it is still very responsive and fun to paddle.

Stand Up Paddle Boards

Bic Ace-Tec

The 10’6’’ ACE-TEC SUP is an ideal all-around SUP for novice riders up to 260lbs/120kg. The slight rocker makes it agile enough for light surf. The volume and width offer good lateral stability making it easy to handle in flat water.

Cruiser Classic 11′ 6″

The Cruiser Classic offers all-round performance on flat water and small waves.

Cruiser Eco Comp 10’6″

An all around board with good stability.

NRS Osprey Inflatable SUP

The Osprey is very stable. It can accommodate a larger paddler than the ridged boards. Offers a good platform for yoga.

NRS Heron Inflatable SUP

The Heron is extremely stable. It can accommodate large paddlers or even a couple of smaller paddlers. Offers a good platform for yoga.
